Spring 2022 Short Sessions in Keswick, VA

Spring family portrait with mother & daughter in Keswick Virginia

When I started doing photography full time upon moving back to Virginia, I had planned on offering mini sessions regularly, at least twice a year as a way to invite new people to try my services at a discounted rate or give people a chance to get some quick photos (typically easier for families with little ones!).

I’m embarrassed to say that I had not hosted mini sessions for this spring in…way too long.

I was so thrilled that an old friend let me use her English gardens in Keswick as the setting for these early May portrait sessions.

These were held over two afternoons and all of the galleries were delivered by Mother’s Day. I had a nice mix of familiar faces and new families I’d never met who heard about me through past clients.

We had so much fun romping around the proper boxwood gardens, checking out what flowers were in bloom, and admiring the rolling hills looking west from Keswick. It really is a ridiculously gorgeous setting.
